Comments and suggestion should be sent to Russell Deaton

You should keep a logbook of your work. I will get the logbook periodically and grade it. Use the logbooks to keep track of what you do to the systems as you work in the lab. The logbook should be kept in your user account on the lab machines, and then, can be emailed to me for grading. Plain text is the approved format. Use the logbook to back out your changes to the system when your are finished.

Logbooks are to keep track of your changes to lab systems. You will also have homework assignments that are specific questions for you to answer, or tasks for you to do. When you send me the assignments, send either plain txt or pdf. Name your file with your name and the assignment number. For example, "rdeaton-1.txt". Final grades for assignments, however, will not be assigned until the end of class. Thus, you can keep working on assignments all semester, improving your work, and score.
