I am an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Computer Engineering department at University of Arkansas, Fayetteville ( September 2009-onwards ). I direct the Mobile, Pervasive, and Sensor Systems lab at CSCE, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. I am a 2011 NSF Career Awardee and have received a set of other research grants from NSF and Microsoft Research . I received the Outstanding Reseacher Award, 2011 from the College of Engineering. I graduated with a Ph.D. from the department of Computer Science at University of Massachusetts, Amherst under the supervision of Prof. Mark Corner in 2009, where I won the Yahoo! Outstanding Thesis award for 2008-09. I did my M.S. from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Before my Masters, I spend four years earning a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT Kgp), where I won the best undergraduate thesis award in 2004 . I have collaborated with Prof. Don Towsley , Prof. Mark Corner, Prof. Brian Levine , Dr. Sharad Agarwal (Microsoft Research, Redmond), Prof. Rajeev Kumar (IIT KGP), Prof. Deepak Ganesan, Prof. Sami Rollins , Prof. Lin Zhong , and Dr. Kevin Fall (Intel Research, Berkeley) .
