  • Biographical Information

    Greg Starling received his BSEE, University of Arkansas 1961 (Electrical Engineering), his M.S. Degree, University of Arkansas 1964 (Mathematics), and his Ph. D. Degree, University of Arkansas 1969 (Mathematics). He has Six graduate credits in Electrical Engineering, Syracuse University, 1961-62, and Twelve graduate credits in Computer Engineering, Clemson University, 1981.

    From 1983-85, he was Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science, Western Carolina University, and in Summer 1984, he was Visiting Professor of Computer Science, Barry University. From 1985-99, he served as a Professor of Computer Science, University of Arkansas, 1985-96, Chairman of Computer Science, University of Arkansas, and Professor in Computer Science & Computer Engineering, University of Arkansas, 1985 to present. His areas of expertise are Computer Design, Computer Architecture, Parallel Computing, Combinatoric and Graph Algorithms.
