    Ron Skeith received his BSIE Degree from Oklahoma State University, in 1960, his MSIE Degree from Oklahoma State University, in 1962, and his Ph. D. Degree from Arizona State University, in 1966. He served as Assistant Professor, University of Arkansas, 1965-1970, was promoted and tenured to Associate Professor, University of Arkansas, 1970-1974, and was promoted to Full Professor, University of Arkansas, in 1974, where he served from 1974--present.

    Professor Skeith Teaching Areas and Areas of Expertise are Software Engineering, Unix Operating System, Shell Script Programming, and Perl Programming Language. His Society Affiliations are Arkansas Professional Engineering Society, ARRL Amateur Radio Operator, Linux Users Group of Northwest Arkansas, and Arkansas Teaching Academy.
