Biographical Information
Wing Ning Li obtained his B.S. Degree in Computer Science University of Iowa, December 1982, his M.S. Degree in Computer Science University of Minnesota, November 1985, and his Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science University of Minnesata, September 1989, Currently, Dr. Li is an Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering, University of Arkansas, where he has been serving from 1998-present.
Li served as Programmer/Software Engineer, Infinite Graphics Incorporated, 4611 E. Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55406, in the period 1984-1985, a Teaching Assistant, Department of Computer Science, University of Minnesota, in the period 1983-1989, a Research Assistant, Department of Computer Science, University of Minnesota, in the period 1986-1989. He served as an Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, University of Arkansas, in the period 1989-1995, and an Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, University of Arkansas, 1995-present.
Dr. Li research interests are in the areas of Computer-aided design for VLSI circuits, combinatorial optimization, design and analysis of algorithms in both theoretical and experimental settings, parallel computing, software reuse and construction, and GUI design and development.
