Biographical Information

Dr. Banerjee graduated with a Ph.D. from the department of Computer Science at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His advisor was Prof. Mark Corner . His synthesis advisors were Prof. Don Towsley and Prof. Mark Corner. He has been actively involved in several research projects with Prof. Brian Levine , Prof. Deepak Ganesan, Prof. Sami Rollins and Prof. Lin Zhong

He has had the unique opportunity of collaborating with leading industrial research labs namely Microsoft Research (with Sharad Agarwal, Victor Bahl, Ranveer Chandra, and Alec Wolman) and Intel Research (with Kevin Fall).

He completed his undergraduate studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur . He won the best undergraduate thesis award in the department of computer science at IIT Kharagpur.

Dr. Banerjee joined the CSCE Department August 2009.
